The Flower Moment

When I was explaining how much I love the movement of revelation or the big reveal— a mentor and friend, the composer James Saunders said that I loved ‘the Flower Moment’ — yes! Exactly that. I love to create in secret and then do a big reveal. It feels like making a gift, carefully wrapping it in exquisite paper, and watching in delight as the recipient opens it.

When I started posting about my EP, Radiant Poison, I had an exchange with the multi-faceted artist Katherine McDaniel and the editor of the arts zine Synkroniciti which is in the spirit of the delight of sharing my work —
